What works
You do not have to buy hardware from us. Epos One runs in the browser, so it works on a lot of what you may already own.
Any modern tablet, phone or computer with a current browser: Android, Windows, Mac, ChromeOS, iPad and iPhone. Android tablets and a touchscreen all in one make a good till.
Connect a receipt or kitchen printer directly from Chrome or Edge on Android, Windows and ChromeOS. On iPad and iPhone you can print through your browser’s print option. Direct printer connections are an add on.
USB or Bluetooth scanners that type in a barcode like a keyboard work straight away. The camera on a phone or tablet can scan too.
Sell by weight with a compatible scale connected from the browser. Tell us which scale you have and we will confirm it works.
Take card payments through Stripe, or keep your current card machine and record the card sale in Epos One so your reports stay complete.
Send us the make and model and we will tell you whether it will work, before you spend anything.
